& Create interiors for the house you live in to make it the home you dream of.
Whether you live in a new build and lust after high ceilings and architraves or you have a character property that you would love to give a fresher, more contemporary twist. We all, at some point make design decisions thinking we need to compromise our style to suit the house we live in.
I believe when we meet somewhere in the middle a perfect interior can be created, no matter the exterior of our homes. This is why I combine styles to create schemes with warmth and personality that work in any space.

The easiest way to give a traditional property a fresh lease of life is by creating a neutral and bright backdrop that can make treasured pieces stand out. A new coat of a light paint colour, adding a statement modern item of furniture and contemporary artworks could be just the twist needed to simplify your space. Similarly painting the woodwork and door frames in one colour and your walls in another, especially if you accessorise with vibrant contemporary prints, will give your property a classical feeling but contemporary long lasting design.

Antique & vintage furniture, artwork arranged in a cluster or gallery wall with layered and contrasting accessories is the key to adding character in a more modern space. To create personality you need to add impact. Block painting walls and layering windows with roman blinds and curtains, adding Ikat prints, stripes and florals with rich textures make it more personal especially if they slightly clash. I love reupholstering a traditional chair in a contemporary print, the classics will always come back around, you don’t need to get rid of anything or change it too much, you just need to find a way to give it a new life.
